Kate Gosselin ‘Profoundly Disturbed’ Over Allegations Jon Hacked Into Her Accounts

Kate Gosselin is looking into her legal options after a former babysitter for her family claimed Jon Gosselin “hacked” into the mother of eight’s technological devices.

In an interview with Radar Online, which was posted on Thursday, Stephanie Santoro, a former babysitter who claims to have been involved with Jon Gosselin romantically, alleged that Jon told her he broke into Kate’s e-mail, online banking accounts and her phone.

“Jon told me that he pretty much hacked into everything of Kate’s that he had access to — her online banking — that he had a trace on every single one of her e-mails so anytime she would get an e-mail he would get a copy of it. He knew exactly what she was sending and what was being sent to her,” Santoro told the Web site. “And he also had that on her phone for her text messages.

“He did say that Kate was hiding money from him and that she would talk to people about stuff and then he would confront her about it, but he had to watch how he did it because he didn’t want her to know that he had everything hacked into,” she continued.

On Thursday, following the allegations, Kate’s legal team issued a statement saying she was looking into her options.

“Kate Gosselin has heard the allegations made by Stephanie Santoro that Jon Gosselin ‘hacked’ into her e-mails, phone, and online accounts, and she is profoundly disturbed by them,” the statement from Kate’s lawyers to Access Hollywood read. “Under the circumstances, Ms. Gosselin is carefully considering all of her legal options regarding this matter and she will pursue them if and when the time is right.”

A rep for Jon, Mike Heller, issued the following statement to Access over the report.

“Make[s] for an interesting case and I think the babysitter would be a great witness,” his statement read.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, following a court hearing earlier in the week in Pennsylvania, Kate’s lawyer told the press that a judge had order Jon to return $180K to their joint bank account, monies Kate claimed Jon took without her permission.

“In response to an emergency application filed by Kate Gosselin on October 5, 2009, the Honorable Arthur R. Tilson of the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas entered an Order today directing Jon Gosselin to return $180,000 in marital funds, which he removed in violation of an arbitrator’s order,” Kate’s lawyer, Mark Momjian, previously said in a statement to Access.
