Katherine Jackson: Michael Did Not Die Of ‘Natural Causes’

Katherine Jackson has spoken out for the first time since the death of her son, Michael Jackson, in late June.

In her first interview since Michael’s death, Katherine told “Geraldo at Large” she believes her son’s untimely death was suspicious.

“All I know is that my son is dead and I don’t think he just died of natural causes or whatever,” the 79-year-old Jackson matriarch told Geraldo Rivera on Sunday. “He is too young for that. But something happened. I don’t know what it was and I can’t say.”

On Monday, a judge awarded Katherine permanent guardianship of Michael’s three children – Prince Michael, 12; Paris Katherine, 11; and Prince Michael II, 7. And during her interview with Geraldo, Katherine noted the kids were holding up as well as could be expected following the loss of their father.

“The children are doing fine,” she added.

She also tackled the rumors that Michael’s father, Joe Jackson, was not allowed to visit his grandchildren.

“I don’t know why they’re saying he’s not being allowed in the house. My husband’s never done nothing of the sort that they are trying to say he did 39 years ago,” Katherine explained, referencing allegations her husband physically abused Michael when he was a child. “I don’t understand that and I just believe it’s something they cooked up.”
