Kathy Griffin’s New Love Interest: Anderson Cooper?

Comedian Kathy Griffin has set her sights on a new love interest.

The star of Bravo’s “My Life On The D-List,” professed her affections for CNN host Anderson Cooper last night on “Larry King Live,” in front of an audience for millions, in an attempt to win him over.

King asked Griffin to introduce Anderson, who was about to interject his regular tease for his LKL-following program “Anderson Cooper 360.” Instead of offering a normal throw to Anderson’s show though Griffin used the moment to profess her love for the handsome anchor.

“I’m in love with you,” she said facing the camera directly.

CNN then cut to a split screen, showing the normally cool host bashfully laughing. It was then that Griffin went one step further.

“Hold me, touch me inappropriately, Anderson Cooper,” she said as the host began to grow a deep shade of red. “Come to my home tonight and love me,” she finished.

As you can see from the video, it took Cooper several moments to collect himself before he was able to carry on.

Whether Griffin’s actions will incur interest from Anderson, only time will tell. The single comedienne has made no secret she is prepared to date her way to the A-list. Griffin’s assistants previously set her up on a date with 27-year-old Backstreet Boy Nick Carter for her show “My Life on The D-List.”

As for anchor love however, Anderson isn’t Griffin’s only crush. She has previously admitted growing weak in the knees for “Today’s” Matt Lauer.
