Keke Palmer Talks Working With Drake On ‘Ice Age 4’; Is She Single?

Actress Keke Palmer is all grown up and lending her voice to “Ice Age” for the animated franchise’s upcoming fourth installment.

Sadly (because the film is animated), the 18-year-old “Joyful Noise” star didn’t get to meet a certain Canadian actor/rapper who she’s been eyeing for some time.

“Did you get to meet anybody else that was doing the voiceovers?” Kit Hoover asked Keke on Friday’s Access Hollywood Live.

“No,” Keke answered. “I really wanted to meet Drake because he plays like, my little love interest. Isn’t that so cool?”

“You should have just called him up and said, ‘Let’s just rehearse,’” Kit said, laughing.

Keke confessed she’s been a fan of the 25-year-old rapper since he first hit the scene playing wheelchair-bound Jimmy Brooks on a Canadian teen soap opera.

“I’ve always been a big fan of Drake since he was on ‘Degrassi,’” Keke said.

“He didn’t quite have the same persona [on ‘Degrassi’] as he does today,” guest co-host Holly Robinson Peete said, adding, “He’s still wearing them sweaters though!”

All the talk of Drake appeared to fluster the actress, as she mistakenly told Kit and Holly she’s unattached.

“Yes,” Keke answered, when Kit asked if she is currently “single.”

“What am I talking about? That was terrible – no, I’m not,” she quickly added. “I’m not single. I don’t know why I said I’m single!”

“Ice Age 4: Continental Drift” hits theaters in July.
