Kelly Osbourne’s ‘Dancing’ Super Food: Pancakes!

Kelly Osbourne has been making a big impression in the “Dancing With the Stars” ballroom with partner Louis van Amstel and the pair revealed to Access Hollywood one secret to their success in the competition.

“Actually, she makes pancakes and those are good carbs,” Louis told Access at Tuesday night’s elimination show.

“Pancakes with blueberries,” Kelly added.

The sweet but healthy treats, made with fruit, help Kelly and Louis power through practice and the professional dancer revealed they are actually quite tasty as well.

“She makes them [taste] good,” Louis said. “I was impressed. I did not expect that.”

But while Kelly and Louis get an energy boost from the quick meal, ballroom preparations haven’t been as fun. In particular, a spray Kelly used on her skin left the Osbourne daughter with some nasty skin sores.

“I sprayed this body spray on myself and I checked it before and it said, ‘Gentle on skin,’” she recounted to Access. “I sprayed it underneath my armpits and it gave me… I went to a dermatologist [and I had] something along the lines of an acid burn.

“It’s really bad,” Kelly continued. “It’s literally the most painful burn I’ve ever had.”

In fact, the burns forced the “DWTS” costume designers to increase the fabric on her costume.

“Originally it didn’t have sleeves,” Kelly explained of her salsa dress she competed in earlier this week. “They had to put it on to cover my burns ‘cause it was so bad.”
