Kelly Taylor Reveals Her Baby Daddy On ‘90210’

On Tuesday’s “90210” a shocker eight years in the making was revealed — Dylan McKay is the father of Kelly Taylor’s 4-year-old son.

The big reveal came during an on-screen argument between Kelly and Brenda (Shannen Doherty).

Jennie Garth, who plays Kelly, told People that Dylan and Kelly were destined to end up together.

”[The producers] settled on Dylan because Kelly and Dylan had such a passionate relationship in the past. Their relationship was so heated. It was kind of undeniable,” she said.

Though Jennie always thought they belonged together, the actress said the decision was a surprise — even to her.

“I didn’t even know for the first three or four episodes who the father was. And then I read it in the script, and I was like, ‘Oh, okay. I guess Dylan’s the dad. Great!’” she told the mag. “It made sense to me because like I said, Kelly and Dylan ultimately do belong together. They have a fiery thing.”

But will Dylan return to the famous zip code for any daddy duty?

Back in June, Luke Perry told Access Hollywood, “It’s just not something that I’ve thought about to be quite honest. I don’t see it happening.”

But now, the actor appears to be reconsidering, according to Us Weekly

”[Luke] is in talks. The writers really want to do the Kelly-Brenda-Dylan plotline,” a source told the mag.

As for Jennie, she hopes Luke, along with her other TV flame, Brandon, played by Jason Priestly, returns to the show.

“I would love to work with Luke [Perry] again. I love him dearly. And I also would love to work with Jason [Priestley] again… I would be nothing but totally happy to have either of them there,” she said.

Though the return of “90210’s” men could be in the works, Jennie cautions fans that the future for her character has yet to be decided.

“There are some people that think Kelly and Brandon belong together,” she told the mag. “Just because the father is Dylan doesn’t mean that’s who Kelly is ultimately going to end up with.”
