Kendall Jenner Opens Up About Caitlyn’s Transition

Kendall Jenner is at the height of her career. The 20-year old supermodel landed the cover of Vogue’s September issue, and got candid in the mag’s inside pages for a revealing
conversation about her personal and professional life. 

In the interview, her sister Kim insisted
that Kendall always knew how she wanted her career to go.

“She had her eyes focused on exactly what she wanted to
do,” Kim shared. “And she made it happen.”

Kendall added, “Obviously
my success came after my sisters’ – I got to see all their mistakes and watch
out for them.”

Kendall also opened up about
her dad Caitlyn Jenner’s transition.

“Her transition was really hard for me, because I was like, ‘But you taught me everything tomboy,'” she
said, adding, “I knew it was going to have
a rough phase, but it’s all supernormal now. It’s not weird at all.”

Kendall admitted that
sometimes seeing pictures of Caitlyn pre-transition makes her “sad.”

“Sometimes I look at a picture of my dad when she was a
guy, and it makes me a little sad, I get emotional,” she said. “You have to get past it, you’ve got a new
person to love.”

Kendall
went on to say that she’s
since learned to embrace Caitlyn as a positive presence in her life.

“It’s kind of a blessing in disguise, if that’s not
wrong to say it,” she said.
