Kendra Wilkinson: My Son Was Inspired By My Terrifying Dive On Splash

Kendra Wilkinson attempted (and completed) a difficult dive on this week’s “Splash” – and the reality star says she never would have gone through with it if it weren’t for her son, Hank Baskett IV.

“That was my first time doing [that dive] because I’d go to practice and I’d be like, ‘No, I’m not doing it,’” she told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover on Friday’s Access Hollywood Live. “But I got up there and when I saw little Hank in the audience yelling, ‘I love you,’ I felt power.”

Seeing her son in the crowd and realizing he would remember her actions for years to come, prompted Kendra to take the dive.

“I’m like, ‘There’s no way I can turn back. There’s no way,’” she said. “That was the first time I did it and I nailed it. It was the scariest moment, but I did it.”

Adding, “Would I do it again? No!”

Her courage didn’t go unnoticed by 3-year-old Hank, who Kendra said is now mimicking her dive around the home she shares with husband Hank Baskett III.

“Now he’s like jumping off his bed on his bean bag like, ‘This is what you did!’” the proud mom said. “So it’s inspiring him to be not afraid. It’s actually really, really cool.”

“Splash” returns Tuesday at 8/7c on ABC.
