Kerry Washington has finally spoken out about the birth of her daughter! Well, sort of.
The notoriously private star took to Twitter on Sunday to thank fans for their well wishes on her first Mother’s Day.
“Well…I still wont talk about my personal life on here,” she wrote. “But…I see your tweets. And I am filled with gratitude! XO #HappyMothersDay.”

This is the first time the new mom has spoken out since the birth of her daughter last month.
The 37-year-old “Scandal” star gave birth to daughter Isabelle Amarachi Asomugha on April 21, according to the baby’s birth certificate, obtained by Access Hollywood.
The baby was born at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles at 5:02 PM PT.
