It’s a girl for Kevin Jonas and his wife, Danielle!
The couple welcomed their daughter, Alena Rose Jonas, on Sunday afternoon.
“On this day, a little star was born. Meet Alena Rose Jonas,” Dreft infant laundry detergent announced via Twitter, along with a photo of Danielle holding the newborn. (Kevin and Danielle re-Tweeted the company’s Tweet.)
Earlier in the day, proud papa Kevin, 26, announced via Tweet that Danielle had gone into labor.
#babyjonas is on the way!! It’s showtime #thisisnotadrill,” the singer wrote, along with a photo of a machine monitoring the new mom’s vitals.
Adding, “I’m so excited #babyjonasiscoming!”
At 10:42 AM Pacific Time, Kevin Tweeted that Danielle had entered the final stages of delivery.
“Here we go we’re pushing!!!! #babyjonas,” he wrote.
Alena is the first baby for Kevin and Danielle, who tied the knot in 2009.
The couple announced they were expecting in July.
