It was revealed on the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” Season 8 premiere that Bruce Jenner now spends time at a second house — a bachelor pad of sorts — away from wife Kris Jenner and their brood.
In an interview with Jay Leno on Wednesday, Khloe Kardashian revealed she doesn’t approve of her mom and stepdad’s newfound living situation.
“Well, they’re not having problems but they still like to live apart, which is definitely different,” the 28-year-old reality star said during an appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.” “In my house, there is a man room for [husband] Lamar [Odom]. A room — not a different house!
“I think they took my idea and ran with it and they got another house. Bruce stays there sometimes,” she added.
Kris and Bruce have been married for over two decades (while Khloe and Lamar have only been married for three), but Khloe said it’s hard for her to understand the couple’s desire to live in different residences while maintaining a marriage.
“They’re like, ‘Don’t judge us. We’ve been married [22] years,’” Khloe said. “I’m like, ‘I know people that have been married longer that still live together.’”
Ultimately, Khloe said she doesn’t think Bruce and Kris’ decision is wise, but acknowledges that different choices work best for different people.
“I’m not for that, but you know, to each their own,” she said. “I don’t compare relationships. I just think a little too much time apart maybe isn’t the best thing.”
