Khloe Kardashian Speaks Out Following Kim’s Reported Miscarriage Scare: Mommy & Baby Are ‘Fine’

Khloe Kardashian has a message for fans following reports that her big sister, Kim Kardashian – who is expecting her first child – faced a miscarriage scare this week.

“A lot of you have expressed concern in the recent hours about Kim, and I just wanted to let you all know that mommy and baby are doing fine and just taking it easy right now,” Khloe wrote in a post titled “Thank You For Your Concern” on her personal website on Thursday. “Thank you so much to all of our wonderful fans and loved ones for your concern and support. We love you!”

According to multiple reports, Kim, 32, rushed to her doctor late Tuesday night after returning to Los Angeles from a trip to Paris because she was experiencing stomach pains and feared she may in danger of losing her baby.

The New York Post reported that the reality star was warned by doctors to rest and slow down (she’s been jet-setting all over the globe since announcing her pregnancy with Kanye West in late December – including trips to Brazil and Paris).

On Thursday’s “Today” show, longtime Kardashian family friend Kathie Lee Gifford discussed the mom-to-be’s busy schedule and shared her own experiences with miscarriage and busy travel.

”[Traveling] is a huge toll on your body,” Kathie Lee said. “You’ve got to put your child first… I think [Kim] should — for the sake of the baby — just calm down.”

Adding, “Rest and enjoy this time. Eat for two and deal with it later!”
