Kiefer Sutherland Headed Back To FOX With New TV Pilot?

“24’s” day may have ended, but Kiefer Sutherland might be returning to FOX.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor is in preliminary talks to play the lead role in “Touch,” a drama pilot.

“Touch,” is the brain child of “Heroes” creator Tim Kring, and focuses on a father (likely Kiefer), whose autistic and mute boy has the unusual ability to predict things before they come to pass.

Sutherland previously starred in the hit show “24.” The show ran for eighth seasons but was canceled in March 2010.

Sutherland who played Federal Agent Jack Bauer on the series has currently been performing on Broadway. In fact, according to The Hollywood Reporter the actor’s role in the revival of Jason Miller’s “That Championship Season,” could end up keeping him from the FOX project.

Next month, Kiefer’s drama “The Confession,” also starring Joh Hurt, is due for release.
