Kim Kardashian won’t be walking down the aisle before she and fiance Kris Humphries have a prenuptial agreement in place.
”[Kris and I] are really open, we’re really honest, you know my father made me sign contracts for literally everything, to like get a car, not grow up too fast, like everything I had to sign a contract,” she told Jay Leno on Tuesday’s “Tonight Show.” “I think that [it’s] a smart thing to do for me and for him… I don’t think that it takes away from any kind of love or anything… it’s just a smart thing that him and I both mutually agreed upon.”
Kim – who is reportedly worth $35 million (Kris earns $3.2 million per year playing for the New Jersey Nets) – told Jay that she their wedding could happen within months.
“We are hoping to get married by the end of the summer, we’re just going to go for it and hopefully get it all together,” she explained. “I think it’s really stressful to get everything together so fast, but if my mom and Khloe and Lamar and all of them could plan [their] wedding in nine days, I can do it in 60 days.”
Also on Tuesday’s show, Kim addressed Bret Lockett’s recent claims, where the New England Patriots star said he a five-month “physical” relationship with the reality star, even though he admitted to never meeting her.
“Some guy (Lockett) that I’ve never even heard of, met, text, spoke to, anything, has came out and said that I’m having this like five month affair with him,” she explained. “I don’t even know who this person is… it’s so shocking to me…these kind of people should really be ashamed of themselves for really trying to get publicity off of people they don’t know.”
Kim and Kris announced their engagement in May. The NBA star gave his bride-to-be a 20.5-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring, reportedly worth $2 million.
