Kim Kardashian Reveals She’s Considering Surgery In The Hopes Of Having Another Child

Kim Kardashian is willing to go to great lengths to expand
her family.

In a sneak peek at the April 2 episode of “Keeping Up
with the Kardashians,” the reality star reveals that she’s considering
surgery to prepare her body for a third pregnancy.

“I have to
go in and repair my uterus. Because I decided I’m going to try to have one more
baby,” she announces at the
dinner table. “Isn’t that exciting?”

Her loved ones appear hesitant to offer their congratulations, given the complications Kim experienced while carrying North, 3, and Saint, 1.

Mom Kris Jenner stays mostly silent, but Kris’ beau Corey Gamble tells Kim that he just doesn’t want her to “do anything risky.”

Sisters Kylie Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian seem to wear expressions of concern on their faces, with Khloe probing for more details on Kim’s plans.

When Khloe asks Kim what the procedure would entail, the 36-year-old admits that she could still face health issues even after taking relatively invasive precautions.

“I have to have surgery on my uterus to kind repair this hole. So they need to like clean that out and then there’s like scar tissue,” she says. “It’ll still be, like, a really high-risk pregnancy; just, I would be able to get pregnant.”

In a confessional clip, Kim addresses the difficult nature of her decision, and the warnings she’s received previously from medical experts.

“Having more kids is definitely going to be a struggle. I’ve gone through so much with really bad deliveries that the doctors don’t feel like it’s safe for me to conceive again myself,” she explains.

The potentially life-threatening conditions she endured with her first two pregnancies include preeclampsia and placenta accreta. Despite the possibility of facing those dangers again, Kim says her desire to give North and Saint a little brother or sister is still her top priority.

“This surgery is really the one last thing I can try. I want my kids to have siblings, and I want to know that I did everything I could to make this happen,” she says in the preview.

“Keeping Up with the Kardashians” airs Sunday nights at 9 PM ET/PT on E!
