Kirstie Alley Reacts To Getting The Boot On Dancing: ‘Let’s Face It’ — Remaining Dancers Are ‘Far Superior’

Kirstie Alley and Maks Chmerkovskiy were eliminated Tuesday night on “Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars,” and while the outspoken actress was sad to go, she wasn’t totally surprised.

“[Maks] worked so hard and I gave it my best shot, but let’s face it — there are dancers that are remaining that are far superior,” Kirstie told Access Hollywood after the show. “I feel good that I made this far and I know next week they’re doing a Michael Jackson dance, and I knew Michael Jackson, so I think maybe it’s better that I’m not doing an interpretation of a Michael Jackson dance.”

The 61-year-old star offered gratitude to the viewers who voted for her and Maks.

“I just want to thank or fans because that’s what got us this far,” she said. “We did our best to entertain you, we did the best of the dances too, but one of us was better at the dancing than the other.”

“Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars” returns Monday at 8/7c on ABC.
