Kristen Bell confirmed reports of a marriage between her and longtime beau Dax Shepard via Twitter on Friday.
“Wife coffee tastes way better than regular coffee in the morning :),” the “Veronica Mars” star Tweeted to her new husband.
The happy couple – who had been engaged since 2010 but vowed to postpone their wedding until marriage equality became a reality – wed on Thursday at the Beverly Hills County Clerk’s Office.
Kristen, 33 and Dax, 38, arrived to simply obtain a marriage license but a court employee offered to marry the couple on the spot and they reportedly took the plunge.
In June, Kristen proposed to Dax via Twitter after California’s Prop. 8 was struck down.
“@daxshepard1 will you marry me? Xo #marriageequality #loveislove,” she Tweeted, moments after the decision was announced.
Dax enthusiastically responded with, “F**k Yes!!!!!!!!!!!”
“DOMA is dead. Prop 8 is dead,” Dax added. “Now let’s bring my big, gay marriage to @IMKristenBell to Life!!!!”
The couple began dating in 2007 and welcomed baby girl Lincoln in March.
