Kristen Stewart: It’s Not ‘A Terrible Thing’ To Be ‘Hated’

Kristen Stewart experienced fan backlash after admitting she’d cheated on Robert Pattinson with her married “Snow White and the Huntsman” director this summer, and while the turning of the tide was difficult, the actress says being disliked isn’t as bad as it seems.

“It’s not a terrible thing if you’re either loved or hated,” Kristen, 22, told Newsweek. “But honestly, I don’t care ’cause it doesn’t keep me from doing my s**t.”

While she’s able to shrug off the public’s seeming disdain for her misstep, Kristen said she is sorry for upsetting her fans.

“I apologize to everyone for making them so angry,” she told the magazine. “It was not my intention.”

The actress also weighed on wrapping up her role as Bella, with this year’s final “Twilight” installment, “Breaking Dawn – Part 2.”

“The only relief when it comes to ‘Twilight’ is that the story is done,” she said. “I start every project to finish the motherf****r, and to extend that [mentality] over a five-year period adapting all of these treasured moments over four books, it was constantly worrying.

Adding, “But as long as people’s perspective of me doesn’t keep me from doing what I want to do, it doesn’t matter.”

Kristen will next be seen in “Focus,” alongside Ben Affleck – a comedy set to start filming in April.
