Kristen Stewart’s ‘Breaking Dawn’ Birth Scene ‘As Intense’ As Book

Bella’s birth scene in “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn,” won’t shy away from the intensity seen in the Stephenie Meyer novel, according to the movie’s screenwriter.

“We’re working on it,” screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg told E! Online’s Marc Malkin when asked about the book’s birth scene, one in which Kristen Stewart’s character gives birth to Renesmee. “And we’re working on it to be as intense as it is in the book.”

According to Rosenberg, the scene won’t be all about the gore.

“I don’t think it’s about the amount of blood you show,” Rosenberg explained. “It’s about the intensity of it. It’s on their faces. It’s all from Bella’s point of view when you’re seeing what’s going. It should feel visceral. I think it’s going to be pretty intense.”

As for when the “Breaking Dawn” scripts will be finished, Rosenberg said she has a firm deadline.

“It better damn well be before the beginning of November,” she said, “Because that’s when we start shooting.”

“Breaking Dawn – Part 1” hits theaters on November 18, 2011, with the second installment coming to the big screen on November 16, 2012.
