Kristen Stewart’s Mom: ‘I Never Spoke About Her Love Life!’

Not so fast. Kristen Stewart’s reported new relationship has not been mother approved – or even confirmed.

Reports that the “Twilight” star’s mom, Jules, dished to The Sunday Mirror about her daughter’s rumored romance with personal assistant Alicia Cargile were debunked on Monday, after Jules herself denied having spoken about Kristen’s personal business.

According to Us Weekly, Jules clarified that her remarks to the British tabloid concerned only professional endeavors and general support of gay rights, and were not directed specifically toward speculation surrounding Kristen and Alicia’s relationship.

“I spoke to Sharon Feinstein about my film K-11 that has been put on display in the Hollywood Museum,” she told Us Weekly. “It’s currently there under the LGBT banner on the third floor. She also asked me about my views on gay rights, which I was happy to express. Then we talked briefly about the fundraiser I am hosting for TheWolfConnection.org. Never ever did we discuss Kristen!”

According to The Sunday Mirror, the outlet claims Jules confirmed Kristen was, in fact, dating Alicia.

“What’s not to be accepting about her now having a girlfriend? She’s happy,” the UK website quotes Jules as saying. “I’ve met Kristen’s new girlfriend, I like her. What’s not to accept? She’s a lovely girl.”

As for that reported claim, Jules explained that she merely acknowledged she knows Alicia and offered nothing further.

“I said, ‘Yes, she’s a lovely girl,’” the Hollywood script supervisor explained.
