Kristen Stewart’s Mom Making Directorial Debut In ‘K-11’; Brother Cameron Makes Acting Debut

Kristen Stewart’s family is also getting in the movie business… are you ready for J-Stew & C-Stew?

According to Variety, “The Twilight Saga” star’s mom, Jules Mann-Stewart, will make her directorial debut in “K-11,” starring Goran Visnjic, D.B. Sweeney, Portia Doubleday and her son/Kristen’s brother, Cameron Stewart.

The film, set in the Los Angeles County’s Men’s Central Jail, will mark Cameron’s feature debut.

The story centers on Visnjic’s character, a music producer who awakens in a special unit of the jail designated for “vulnerable” inmates after a three-day binge, the trade mag reported. A transgendered inmate who is described as “a viper” rules the jail unit.

Rumors that Kristen would star as another transgendered character in the movie turned out to be false.

“K-11” is currently shooting in LA at the now-closed Sybil Brand correctional facility. A release date for the movie as yet to be announced.
