Kylie Jenner got herself into a bit of hot Instagram water this weekend after she posted a pic from a photoshoot featuring the reality star with darker skin.
The highly-stylized pic (where the 17-year-old is seen wearing violet contacts), caused the Internet to collectively clutch its pearls, as Twitter and Instagram users accused the youngest Kardashian/Jenner of sporting blackface – something Kylie quickly denied.

“This is a black light and neon lights people lets all calm down,” she captioned a second picture from the same shoot on Saturday.
The reality star deleted the original picture she first posted (which she had captioned, “What I wish I looked like all the time”), according to E!.
Kylie then took to Twitter on Saturday night to further explain herself, Tweeting, “Yes, In another world I wish I could have pink hair & blue eyes & covered in sparkles. But in this world I’m happy w the way God created me. Happy Easter everybody.”
Kylie is no stranger to making waves. The teenager has faced scrutiny for her changing appearance and is reportedly dating 25-year-old rapper Tyga.
