Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott On The Parenting Advice She Gave Kelly Clarkson

A pregnant Kelly Clarkson turned to Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott for advice recently.

And, at Sunday’s American Music Awards, Hillary, who welcomed her first child, daughter Eisele in July, shared what she told the original American Idol, who had asked about parenting while on the road.

“I think you just have to take it a day at a time and really just soak up every moment you get,” Hillary told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson on the red carpet at the music awards show. “My daughter’s four months old and it’s crazy how fast time has flown. But you just have to live in the moment.”

Hillary said she is very happy for Kelly and her husband, Brandon Blackstock.

“I’m so unbelievably excited for her and Brandon,” the singer said. “She’s going to be an amazing mom.”
