Lady Gaga: I Wanted My Fragrance To Be ‘Sexy’ & ‘A Little Bit Slutty’

Lady Gaga recently followed the path set by stars like Jennifer Lopez, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and Britney Spears, by introducing her own celebrity fragrance – Fame.

Gaga told Access Hollywood’s Michelle Beadle on Thursday in New York City, that it took her scientists six months to figure out the non-staining technology for Fame, and she revealed the inspiration behind its scent.

“I wanted it to be very sexy,” the “Born This Way” singer told Michelle. “And, I also wanted it to be a little bit slutty…. I wanted it to have that sort of danger of a really beautiful stripper.

“It’s a fragrance for a woman that wants to be taken to bed, certainly,” she added.

“So Fame is really just about seduction?” Michelle asked.

“I’m seducing you today in my white turtle neck,” Gaga said.

The ad campaign for her debut fragrance features a naked Gaga, with miniature people climbing all over her, a little “Gulliver’s Travels”-esque.

Posing for the photograph — without clothing — wasn’t a big deal for the singer because it was shot by a famed photographer, who also happens to be a pal of the singer’s.

“No, not with Steven Klein behind the lens,” she said. “So, it’s a nice freeing experience, actually, and I think that’s what’s important about being nude in general, right? You should do it with people that you love and that you trust.”
