Lady Gaga Talks Taylor Kinney: Having Your Best Friend As A Lover Is ‘The Best Thing Ever’

Lady Gaga says she and boyfriend Taylor Kinney are going strong, thanks not only to their chemistry, but also to their strong friendship.

“At the end of the day he’s my best friend and having your lover be your best friend, I mean, it’s the best thing ever,” the “Do What U Want” singer, 27, told Ellen DeGeneres of her “Chicago Fire” beau, during an interview that will air on Monday on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” “It’s the best thing I can say about it.”

While some little monsters have found Gaga and Taylor to be an odd couple, the singer said her 32-year-old boyfriend is more bizarre than he appears.

“He’s a hidden weirdo,” she said. “He is extremely strange, actually, and we complement each other’s weirdness.”

As for their home life, Gaga said she and Taylor are just an average couple during their down time.

“We’re boys,” she said with a laugh. “I wear his flannels, we eat pizza, we watch TV and then I play him my next single and ask him if he likes it. And that’s our normal life.”
