Lamar Odom Gives Credit To Bruce Jenner For Spanish Basketball Move

Two-time NBA champion Lamar Odom has gone to Spain to play basketball with the Spanish franchise Laboral Kutxa, and he is sharing some of the credit for his career move with Bruce Jenner.

“Bruce is… he means a lot to me,” Odom said in an interview, obtained exclusively by Access Hollywood.

“Bruce is one of the reasons why I am going to do this,” Odom added.

“And of course my family,” he added. “They stood by me.”

Khloe Kardashian filed for divorce from the basketball star back in December, but he still refers to her as his “wife,” and was spotted still wearing his wedding ring.

“I always speak to Khloe. She’s my wife,” Odom said, when asked if he still speaks with Khloe.

He also confirmed he is still in touch with Kris Jenner.

“I left Kris [Jenner] a message today. [I’m] always texting back and forth with Bruce. Hopefully they’ll be able to come see me soon,” he added.

Access reached out to a source with the team who said Odom would not be playing in Thursday’s scheduled game. The team’s website reports Odom will make his debut with the team on February 27.
