LAPD Chief: Michael Jackson’s Casket Will Be At Public Memorial

Los Angeles Police Chief William Bratton says Michael Jackson’s casket will be headed to Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles for the singer’s public memorial on Tuesday morning, according to the Associated Press.

The public memorial is slated to begin at 10 AM PST.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Hudson, Magic Johnson, Smokey Robinson and John Mayer are among the superstar guests set to participate in the service.

Michael’s former girlfriend, actress Brooke Shields, will appear at the event, as will R&B star Usher, legend Stevie Wonder, Motown’s Berry Gordy and Lakers star Kobe Bryant.
