Last ‘Jay Leno Show’ To Air February 9

“The Jay Leno Show” will air its last episode on Tuesday, February 9, NBC confirmed to Access Hollywood.

The primetime show’s cancellation comes weeks before Jay will return to his former 11:35 PM timeslot on “The Tonight Show” on March 1.

It was originally believed NBC would run “The Jay Leno Show” through February 11. However, a new programming schedule released by the network indicates a repeat of “Law & Order SVU” will air in the 10 PM timeslot on Wednesday, February 10 and two repeat episodes of “The Office” are slated for the 10 PM hour on Thursday, February 11.

Conan O’Brien left his own “Tonight Show” seat on Friday, January 22, with re-runs from his brief seven-month tenure on the show currently airing until Leno takes over.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Conan accepted a deal worth $45 million – including severance pay for a number of his show staff – to exit his contract with NBC last week. The terms of the deal permit him to return to TV in September, though his plans have yet to be announced.
