Latest Celeb Booted From ‘Dancing’; Change Coming To Elimination Night

The field of play may be evening out on “Dancing with the Stars,” but one celebrity contender didn’t have the momentum to carry them through to a fourth week of competition.

(SPOILER – This story contains the results of Tuesday’s “DWTS.”)

Actor Jack Wagner faced the curtain call on “Dancing,” taking partner Anna Trebunskaya out of the competition too.

“It was a great time and I just – I had a great time,” the somewhat surprised star said after learning he was being eliminated, making him the second star (after Martina Navratilova) to get the “Dancing” boot in Season 14. “And you know, it was fun to kind of test myself, and thanks to the judges. Appreciate it.”

The star shared his well wishes for the rest of the cast, adding, “Good luck to everybody else, all the other contestants.”

While he won’t be returning next week, Jack got to go out on a high – performing a dance on Monday in tribute to his most memorable year, which he said was 2011, when he met, for the first time, his long lost daughter, Kerry.

His samba with Anna was deemed by judge Len Goodman, his “best dance” — but it wasn’t enough to save the actor.

Saved to dance again were rocker Gavin DeGraw and Karina Smirnoff, who were in the Bottom 2 on Tuesday.

In related “Dancing” news, show co-host Tom Bergeron revealed that there would be a bit of a shake up with regards to how eliminations take place, coming soon.

“After next week, and for the next three [weeks], the Bottom 2 couples will dance simultaneously for the judges, who will then decide who goes,” Tom said. “This dance duel will give you one last change for the best dancer to stay in the competition.”

“Dancing with the Stars” returns Monday, April 9 at 8/7c on ABC.
