Lauren Bacall Not Tweeting About ‘Twilight’

Hollywood legend Lauren Bacall has not joined the ranks of celebs sharing their thoughts on Twitter.

An unidentified person Tweeting under the name “Lauren_Bacall” and claiming to be the actress is an imposter, her rep told Access Hollywood.

“She knows nothing of it,” the rep told Access when asked if Bacall had her own Twitter page.

On Tuesday, the imposter attacked “Twilight” and claimed to have watched it with Bacall’s granddaughter.

“Yes I saw Twilight my granddaughter made me watch it, she said it was the greatest vampire film ever,” the fake Bacall Tweeted. “After the ‘film’ was over I wanted to smack her accros her head with my shoe, but I do not want a book called Grannie Dearest written on me when I die.”

Instead, the imposter recommended a vintage vampire film.

“I gave her a DVD of Murnau’s 1922 masterpiece Nosferatu,” he or she Tweeted. “Now that’s a vampire film! And that goes for all of you! Watch Nosferatu instead!”
