Lawyer: Lindsay Lohan’s Arrest Warrant Was A Misunderstanding

Lindsay Lohan’s weekend legal woes came to an end Monday morning at the Beverly Hills courthouse, when the actress resolved the warrant for her arrest issued on Friday.

Lohan’s attorney, Shawn Chapman Holly, said the actress switched her alcohol program but did not notify the court of the change.

Judge Marsha N. Revel, who presided over the hearing, said it was the actress’ responsibility to inform the court of any changes related to her three years probation sentence.

Judge Revel said there was “no indication of dirty tests” in regards to Lohan’s sobriety.

“As you saw in court, this was really much ado about nothing,” Holley told reporters after Lohan’s hearing. She said she expects the actress to complete her probation successfully.

Holley noted that the weekend of negative speculation was difficult for Lohan.

The actress is serving out a three-year probation after pleading no contest to two charges of DUI and pleading guilty to two charges of being under the influence of a controlled substance and reckless driving in 2007, and could go to jail if she were to violate any of its terms.
