“Glee’s” Lea Michele is getting back to something she loves – singing.
The star returned to the studio on Monday, where she recorded a song for an upcoming episode of her Fox series, which was delayed following the death of co-star and boyfriend Cory Monteith.
“Couldn’t have picked a more beautiful & perfect song to start the year with,” the 26-year-old actress/singer Tweeted.

Lea was also spotted wearing a silver “Cory” necklace on Monday as she headed into the studio.
The show’s executive music producer, Adam Anders, Tweeted Lea on Monday, writing, “you are the strongest person I know. That was truly amazing. Love you xoxo #leastrong.”
“Glee’s” vocal producer and recording engineer, Alex Anders, also sang Lea’s vocal praises following the recording session.
“You were absolutely magnificent today. I am in awe of your strength and your sweet spirit. Love you. #leastrong,” he Tweeted.
Due to Cory’s sudden passing (the 31-year-old was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room on July 13, from a fatal combination of heroin and alcohol), “Glee” Season 5 will premiere on September 26 – one week later than originally planned.
