and Eddie Cibrian’s history goes back even farther than they thought!
On Thursday,
the country singer shared a nearly 20-year-old photo of herself posing with her
now-husband when she was just a teenager – long before they ever made headlines
as a couple.
In her
Instagram caption, LeAnn explained that neither she nor Eddie recall the
encounter — but the discovery is poignant in hindsight.

“I was 14, he was 23. We don’t remember meeting. He found
this in the garage while going through boxes,” she wrote. “14 years
later who knew we’d meet again.”
LeAnn added
that the shot seems especially timely, as she and the actor embark upon a new
milestone in their relationship.

“Fate?
Chance? Serendipity? Who knows ? All we do know is, here we are together and
tomorrow we are celebrating 5 years of being married and we wouldn’t want to be
anywhere else,” she wrote.
LeAnn and Eddie’s romance sparked when they worked together on
the 2009 Lifetime movie “Northern Lights.” They were both married at
the time and split from their respective spouses – dancer Dean Sheremet and
“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum Brandi Glanville – shortly
afterward.
On Thursday, the couple commemorated their anniversary while
on vacation with friends – which LeAnn also documented on social media with a
few festive snaps, along with a sweet throwback to her and Eddie’s 2011 wedding day.
