Leighton Meester Dishes On ‘Gossip Girl’ Exit & Her Search For Love

Leighton Meester has her sights set on the end of “Gossip Girl” – the actress has said that she’ll only be on the series for two more seasons.

The 24-year-old was asked about a possible exit from the CW show and she was quick to offer up a timeline.

“Two more years,” Leighton told E! Online’s Marc Malkin.

When asked why in two years, she added, “Because we’re under contract.”

A rep for the CW has no comment when contacted by Access Hollywood.

The actress, who is starring in the upcoming “Country Strong,” also recently spoke to Allure magazine about her search for love.

“It’s wonderful to be in love,” she said in the mag’s January issue. “And it’s definitely wonderful to cuddle and have sex and get to experience life with somebody. But it’s okay if you don’t find him and you’re 24. You can find it someday.”

One thing Leighton has found, is a slower life outside of the Hollywood party scene.

“We had craaaazy parties, we had DJ’s, bands, an ice luge, a fire twirler,” she said when asked about her former wild days. “One of my roommates burned off her bangs on the stove trying to light a cigarette. I mean, drinking is one thing – overdrinking is another. And drugs are something that I do not tolerate at all. You’d be surprised how many people do it. If you go out and you’re living the nightlife scene, that’s what people do.”

Leighton will be seen on the big screen in “Country Strong,” opposite Gwyneth Paltrow and “Tron” Legacy’s” Garrett Hedlund on January 7, 2011.
