Lenny Kravitz fans rejoice, the singer will headline a free concert in New York City on August 31.
Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung Mobile) today announced that Kravitz will headline the New York concert for the Samsung AT&T Summer Krush 2011 series.
To celebrate his much-anticipated new album, “Black and White America,” being released on August 30, and his participation in the 4th annual free summer concert series, Samsung and AT&T are partnering with Kravitz to launch a massive giveaway promotion for fans.
The multi-market fly-away program will allow fans in 30 top U.S. markets to enter a chance to win travel and accommodations to New York City, and two tickets to attend the New York Samsung AT&T Summer Krush 2011 concert featuring Lenny Kravitz.
Kravitz is a four time GRAMMY Award winner and has sold over 35 million albums worldwide. His new album, marks his first release of new material in three years. Samsung AT&T Summer Krush 2011 kicks off on July 20 with chart-topping Country artist Luke Bryan in Nashville for a free concert, open to the public, at The famed Grand Ole Opry House. On August 3, Coldplay will take to the stage at the Los Angeles Tennis Center at UCLA for a one-night-only live concert event benefitting The GRAMMY Foundation. 2011 ACM New Artist of the Year, The Band Perry continue the tour with a special free performance at Gilley’s in Dallas on August 8, followed by Kravitz in New York City on August 31.
