Leona Lewis and Red Hot Chili Pepper Anthony Kiedis have been crowned the “Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrities Alive” in a new PETA poll.
Newcomer Lewis, the chart topping singer of “Bleeding Love,” beat out a host of sexy celebs for the top honor including Alicia Silversstone, Carrie Underwood, Alyssa Milano and Shania Twain on the women’s short list.
“I am a vegetarian so I don’t have clothes, shoes or bags made from leather or suede or any animal products… I’m on a mission,” Lewis said in a statement.
Kiedis, the Chili Peppers frontman, bested competition from Joaquin Phoenix, Milo Ventimiglia, Paul McCartney and Rupert Everett.
Kiedis isn’t just vegetarian though, he recently became vegan.
“Soon after I [went vegan] I saw some documentary footage of what happens in the factory farming of cows …. It sealed the deal,” the rocker said.
