Levi Johnston’s Playgirl Prep Diet Secrets: Moose Meat

Levi Johnston might be trying to go Hollywood with numerous red carpets appearances, big league TV interviews, a pistachio endorsement deal and a rumored upcoming spread in Playgirl online – but when it comes to getting his body in shape for the racy spread – he’s still just an Alaskan.

“Moose meat is very good for you, high in protein and very lean,” Levi’s trainer, Marvin Jones, told People. “He’s an avid hunter.”

The 19-year-old father of Sarah Palin’s grandchild has taken on a 3,500-calorie low-carb diet in order to get Playgirl ready. He reportedly works out three hours a day in the gym, six days a week and then continues his regime with cardio training, followed by a trip to the sauna.

“I’m not trying to give him a body builder’s look. He’s going to be more toned and more defined,” Levi’s trained told the mag. “I’d like to see him with rounder and more muscular shoulders, with a fuller chest. We’re going to firm his abs up, [and give him a] smaller waist.”

Marvin, who is training Levi in Anchorage, AK, said the workout regime would continue until the first or second week of November.

“I know that’s something he wants to do and we’re having fun training,” Marvin continued. “We’re looking forward to revealing all his hard work!”
