Lindsay Lohan Case Returns To Court Over Lying Allegations

A misdemeanor case over allegations that Lindsay Lohan lied to police about a traffic accident is due back in a Los Angeles courtroom.

The actress faces charge of lying to police about driving when her Porsche slammed into the back of a dump truck in June; reckless driving, and obstructing a police from performing their duties.

She isn’t required to attend the Tuesday hearing, which may result in her attorney entering a plea on her behalf.

The 26-year-old is on probation for a 2011 necklace theft case and could be sentenced to 245 days in jail if a judge determines she violated her probation. A judge revoked Lohan’s probation last month but she has yet to enter a plea.

Lohan’s publicist and attorney Shawn Holley did not return messages Monday.
