Lindsay Lohan Enters Rehab In LA

After reports surfaced last week that Lindsay Lohan was possibly entering rehab in Orange County, the actress has entered treatment in Los Angeles, Access Hollywood has learned.

On Sunday, Judge Marsha Revel had a conference call with Lohan’s attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, and determined that due to security concerns, the 24-year-old would attend rehab within LA County for the next 90 days.

She was reportedly heading to Newport Beach’s Morningside rehab facility, specifically, Morningside’s satellite compound in neighboring Costa Mesa.

According to both TMZ and Radar Online, Lohan is receiving treatment at UCLA Medical Center, where Britney Spears received treatment in 2008.

According to a People source, the actress wanted to see her family before going to rehab.

“Lindsay is very upset that the judge ordered her to go straight to rehab,” the source told the mag. “[Lindsay] feels that she deserved to spend a day with her family after she behaved well in jail.”

The source went on to claim that Lindsay is feeling “depressed” and ” is having a difficult time accepting that she will be in rehab for the next three months,” the source said. “She still doesn’t think that she needs any help.”

Radar reported that Lohan’s motorcade from the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, Calif. to UCLA consisted of a mini-van and two marked police cars.

While in rehab, Lohan will not have her cell phone and will not be able to Tweet.
