In an interesting move for a person attempting to stay on the straight and narrow, Lindsay Lohan headed to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on Friday night.
The troubled actress, who is due at court-mandated rehab in two weeks, was photographed heading into the famed event with her 16-year-old brother Cody.
Lindsay wore her hair down –obligatory Coachella braid included — with short black booties, teeny cut-off shorts, a long-sleeved, striped half shirt (showing off her belly button piercing), and a summer scarf.
Coachella is known for its party atmosphere, with alcohol and other substances readily available, but according to TMZ, Lindsay has told her friends she merely wants to experience the music and will stay clean and sober throughout her time there.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, during an appearance on the “Late Show with David Letterman” this week, Lindsay told the late night host she considers her upcoming trip to rehab a “blessing.”
“To be honest, I’m the happiest when I’m working and the healthiest, and I think this is an opportunity for me to, you know, focus on what I love in life,” she told Dave at the time. “And I don’t think it’s a bad thing. I think it’s a blessing…and not a curse.”
