Lindsay Lohan: My Arrest Was ‘Unfair & Unjust’

Lindsay Lohan is speaking out following her arrest for allegedly leaving the scene of an accident early Wednesday in New York City.

“A paparazzi sat on the hood of my friend’s car and they arrested me. It’s so absurd, completely unfair and unjust,” the 26-year-old told HollywoodLife.com.

“It’s just because it’s me — it’s unfortunate,” she continued.

As previously reported on Access Hollywood.com, A New York City Police Department rep told Access that Lohan was driving a 2010 Porsche SUV into an alley at 355 West 16th Street between 8th and 9th Avenue on her way to the Dream Downtown hotel when she allegedly struck a male pedestrian.

Lohan’s rep told Access on Wednesday morning, “While some of the facts are still being gathered, it appears that this is much ado about nothing. We are confident this matter will be cleared up in the coming weeks and the claims being made against Lindsay will be proven untrue.”
