Lindsay Lohan Not In Violation Of Probation; Judge Says No More Parties

Lindsay Lohan returned to court on Thursday over an alleged probation violation, but the judge ruled that the actress had not violated any of the court’s rules.

The actress arrived at the LAX Courthouse at 9:42 AM and, but the hearing did not begin for an hour-and-a-half after the proceedings were scheudled to start. Judge Stephanie Sautner said Lohan had not violated her probation, but ordered that the actress was not allowed to have any more parties.

Despite reports that Lohan tested positive for alcohol last week, Lohan’s attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, explained that the actress was never ordered not to drink, therefore she was not in violation of her probation due to the reported positive alcohol test.

During the hearing, Judge Sautner told Lohan, “I am not happy about this house arrest, it was the Sherriff’s doing… What you are guilty of is extremely poor judgment. Having parties on the roof of your house… you are not to have parties. I am ordering it. You may have one friend over at a time, and your family, should you want them. That is it.”

“Do you want to get on with your life?” the judge asked.

“Yes, I do,” Lohan replied.

“You knew I was unhappy with house arrest and yet you had a party on your roof?” the judge continued. “How dumb is that… I’m sure you and I will be very happy if we never have to see each other again.”

Following the judge’s words, Lohan was seen getting emotional and dabbing her tearful eyes.

After the hearing, Lohan and Holley were spotted exiting the courtroom. The actress appeared very happy with the outcome.

On Thursday afternoon, Lohan Tweeted, “Thank you to all of my fans for your support. Sending you Love and Light. Xo”

Prior to the hearing on Thursday, a source told Access that Lohan expected to leave today’s conference a free woman and is planning a birthday party in the Hamptons in New York on July 2.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, according to numerous online reports, Lohan tested positive for alcohol last week.

The actress began serving house arrest on May 26, after pleading no contest to one misdemeanor charge in her felony grand theft trial for a $2,500 necklace.

Lohan has been jailed on three separate occasions. First in September 2007 for 84 minutes, then in August 2010 for 13 days and again in September 2010 for 14 hours.

Her house arrest is scheduled to end as early as June 29.
