Lindsay Lohan Out Of Gotti: In The Shadow Of My Father

Lindsay Lohan was originally expected to restart her big screen film career in “Gotti: In the Shadow of My Father,” but she’s no longer involved with the project.

“As of right now Lindsay is not in the movie, and there are no signed agreements, and currently talks are not under way,” Lindsay’s rep told Access Hollywood on Thursday.

Still, her relationship with the project might not be over.

“Could that change at some point? Sure,” he added.

Back in April 2011, Fiore Films, the company behind the film about the Gotti family, which will star John Travolta, said Lindsay was going to play Kim Gotti, the wife of John Gotti Jr.

“We’re very pleased to have Lindsay on-board for both of these films,” said Marc Fiore, executive producer and producer of “Gotti” and CEO of Fiore Films, in a statement released to Access Hollywood at the time. “She has been very enthusiastic about the Gotti project, and after resuming discussions with her, we were impressed by her commitment to the film and felt she would be a perfect Kim Gotti.”

And, earlier this year in February, Victoria Gotti hinted to Access that things had changed and Lindsay was going to play her.

“I’m told just the other day that she very well may [be playing me]. I’m not the casting director, but I know that I’m hearing the same rumblings that you are, and yes they are true. The rumors are definitely circulating and they are in the planning stage and the signing stage and what have you,” she said at the time.
