Lindsay Lohan Tells Letterman I’m Ready To ‘Focus On What I Love In Life’

Lindsay Lohan said she wasn’t expecting to be asked about a few things related to her upcoming stint in rehab when she sat down for an interview on Tuesday’s “Late Show with David Letterman.”

In excerpts, released by CBS ahead of the show’s broadcast, Dave asked the troubled starlet whether she was, “supposed to be in rehab now?”

“Do you not watch anything that goes on? …May 2nd,” Lindsay responded.

Dave also asked, “And how will this time be different? What are they rehabbing, first of all? What is on their list? What are they going to work on when you walk through the door?”

“We didn’t discuss this in the pre-interview, I’m just saying to everyone,” Lindsay said.

As the interview continued, Lindsay said rehab will be a place she can “focus.”

“No, I think, to be honest, I’m the happiest when I’m working and the healthiest, and I think this an opportunity for me to, you know, focus on what I love in life,” she told Dave. “And I don’t think it’s a bad thing. I think it’s a blessing…and not a curse.”

“To be able to, yeah – it’s perhaps a life saver, a career saver,” Dave responded.

“Yeah,” Lindsay said.

The full interview with Lindsay airs tonight at 11:35 PM ET/PT on CBS.
