Starz, the network behind the television franchise “Spartacus,” has released a new PSA in support of Stand Up To Cancer, featuring actress Lucy Lawless.
Lucy and the “Spartacus” team were hit hard by the disease when original star of the “Spartacus” series — Andy Whitfield — was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The actor tragically lost his battle with the disease last September.
The moving clip features footage from the documentary “Be Here Now,” which documented Andy as he fought cancer, with the support of his loving family and friends.

Stand Up To Cancer will air on Starz and Encore on Friday, September 7 at 8 PM ET/PT.
