Lucy Liu is a new mom! The actress has welcomed her first child, a son, via surrogate.
“I can confirm that Lucy Liu is the proud mother of Rockwell Lloyd Liu, brought into the world via gestational carrier,” a rep for the “Elementary” star told Access Hollywood on Thursday. “Mom and baby are healthy and happy.”
Lucy, 46, shared the news herself on the same day, posting a sweet Instagram photo to show the world her bundle of joy.

“Introducing the new little man in my life, my son Rockwell Lloyd Liu,” the “Charlie’s Angels” star captioned the black-and-white snap, which shows her cradling her sleepy-looking newborn. “In [love]!”
The actress and director is already a proud pet parent to her chocolate lab, Apple, whom she honored for National Dog Day on Wednesday with a cute Instagram vid.
“The Apple of my eye,” she wrote of her pooch, and Rockwell’s new buddy.
