Madonna says it’s nice to not be Madonna for a while.
Madonna is the voice of Princess Selenia in the movie “Arthur and the Invisibles.”
She tells NBC’s “Today” show she loved the idea of playing a character where she could create a fantasy world that had nothing to do with her or who people think she is.
She tells “Regis and Kelly” her daughter loves to see her mom play a tough princess. She says Lourdes is “a big fan of girls who are tough.”
Madonna says the princess is tough, smart, can handle a sword, is quick with the words and is “sweet and lovable.”
“Arthur and the Invisibles” opens today.
