Madonna Tour More Sweet Than Sticky After Crossing $90M In Ticket Sales

Madonna may be going through a tough time with her divorce from Guy Ritchie, but she has 91.5 million new reasons to cheer up.

The 50-year-old pop singer grossed $91.5 million for her “Sticky & Sweet” tour according to Arthur Fogel, chairman of concert promoters Live Nation, who spoke to Billboard.

Madonna’s tour was seen by 550,000 concertgoers, including Alex Rodriguez, who saw the tour’s finale on November 26 at Miami’s Dolphin Stadium.

But the singer’s tour isn’t over yet. She played Mexico City over the weekend, the start of her South American leg, where she also reportedly found time to meet up with A-Rod.

When the tour finally wraps up in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Madonna will have brought in $282 million, when her European “Sticky & Sweet” trek is factored in.
