Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd have introduced baby Shai to the world.
Baby Shai, who was born on Jan. 4, made
his television debut on Friday’s “Good Morning America,” cradled in
his mom’s loving arms.
“It’s nerve-wracking because we — I, specifically, wanted to
keep him very private from the beginning though, because we just want to
keep him for ourselves,” Peta told “GMA” weekend anchor Paula Farris about revealing Shai publicly for the first time.

During the interview, the couple revealed Maks changed the
first diaper, and they both said that Shai looks most like mom Peta.
They also discussed their wedding. Peta revealed it’s going to be “a large wedding,” which
will take place over three days and include 300 people.

And baby Shai will feature in the ceremony, they
told “GMA.”
“We’re wondering how to get him down the aisle,”
Peta said.
Peta opened up more about the couple’s decision to reveal
Shai to the world on her new blog – Fam & Glam.
“[B]abies aren’t secrets and keeping him hidden away
forever isn’t realistic or healthy,” Peta wrote.

“Now, after taking as much time as we could to enjoy
these precious first moments of his life, we’re finally ready to share Shai
with the world,” she added.
The new mom posted a heartwarming photo of the trio on her
blog and her blog’s Instagram account, showing her embracing baby Shai, and
Maks cradling them both.
