Mariah Carey Says The Twins Are ‘Doing Great’; Ready To Reveal Their Names

New mom Mariah Carey took to her Twitter account early Tuesday morning giving her fans an update on their newborns twins.

“I wish I could personally thank all those around the world who continue 2 send congrats+prayers for #dembabies!” the singing superstar wrote. “they’re doing great”

Adding, “And they are the most incredible gifts we could ever have imagined!”

The new mom also revealed that she and husband Nick Cannon are ready to reveal the names of their new bundles of joy.

“So we r bout 2 reveal the actual names and b4 we tell em 2 our friends etc,” she wrote in another Tweet. “both begin w/M’s!!!!”

The singer responded to a few of her followers’ guesses, but stopped short of officially announcing the names.

Following the birth of the couple’s twins, Nick Tweeted, “My wife just gave me the most incredible anniversary gift ever in life!…I won’t ever be able to top this!”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, the 41-year-old singing superstar gave birth at 12:07 PM EDT on Saturday at an undisclosed hospital in Los Angeles, Mariah’s rep, Cindi Berger, told the Associated Press.

Mariah and Nick’s baby girl was reportedly born first, weighing 5 pounds, 3 ounces, and was 18 inches long; while her brother was next, at 5 pounds 6 ounces, and was 19 inches.

The couple first announced their pregnancy to Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush back in October, confirming what had been a whirlwind of media speculation.
